Details:
I was born on the small island of Nassau, Bahamas but
moved to The Turks and Caicos Islands with my father at
an early age. A few years later I met Lovey Forbes who
wrote his own songs and sang and played the guitar so
well that I was immediately inspired to start writing.
It would be some years beforer I picked up the guitar
but I learned a few chords and began to play with one
of of the local gospel groups that were being formed
at that time. I started to play guitar in church and
in time became a christian. Later, I was asked to
write a few songs for an album by a local group, The
Gospel Youths. Upon release of the album it filled my
heart with joy to hear my songs being played on the
radio. A few years later I moved to Miami where I
continue to write and sing my songs in my home church.
I try to write songs about what it is like to live the
christian life and the trials we all face. Now I am
happy to finally present to this album that I have
prayed and cried over and spent many a late night
patching together. So listen, enjoy and keep the faith.
