Jacque Anderson was born in the small city of Selma, Alabama; A city mostly known for birthing the civil rights movement. But in 1980, Selma gave birth to a queen, a singer, an artist. In the words of Langston Hughes, âLife for me ainât been no crystal stairs!â
Growing up in a family with eight children and having to experience financial hardship, music became a refuge as well as a passion for Jacque. Her faith in God and love for singing is reflected in her music then and now today.
Her music is now enjoyed and celebrated among selected radio audiences across the United States and Canada.
Jacqueâs music contains a string of well-produced, radio friendly; heart stirring tunes that appeal to the neo-soul urban contemporary gospel audiences.
