This is Julie's 2nd full album and it contains a variety of styles of country/country pop/folk. As a songwriter herself, Julie decided to add to this CD a few songs that she did not write herself but wanted to let others hear a couple songs she enjoys singing, such as Merle Haggard's "Sing Me Back Home." Being an avid Merle Haggard fan, Julie includes a few Haggard tunes in her live shows as well. Julie continues to write and demo most of her own music and performing live at songwriter shows in and around Nashville and performs at many festivals. The CD shows her style of singing as well as writing, but you should add a "live band show" on your list as a must see! Julie has always enjoyed performing live with her band and entertaining. Julie already has her 3rd and 4th projects in the works so you may want to get the collection started!

Once you meet Julie, you will understand the words to "Taylormade for me!" "Kisses for Kids" featuring Luther Lewis and her co-writer as well and producer, is also the title of her non-profit organization that she started in the beginning of 2005. Julie has always had a soft spot for kids and always wants to do something special for them. That is why a portion of each CD sale will be donated to the Kisses for Kids Foundation. She already had her first fundraiser for 2005 which benefited children from Hurricane Katrina. She is in the process of working on the second fundraising event in 2006 for a very sweet little girl who was involved in a school bus accident. Remember the children of the world are our future: "Kisses for Kids that's what they need, kisses for kids don't cost a thing, kisses for kids can do so much, kisses for kids let's give them love."
