One of the most Brutal and Innovative Sounds out of San Antonio, Texas. Maleficent is a band who leaves its mark of existence not only in their home town, but also around the great state of Texas and beyond. Being that their music is a cross blend between extreme Death Metal with a Melodic Groove Twist......that just adds to their distorted image which is believed by many to make them pioneers ahead of their time. The band consists of four members, (Lead Vocalist/Guitarist) Rocky Sanchez, (Drummer) Rudy Sanchez, (Guitarist/Vocalist) Ruben Rodriguez, and (Bassist) Israel Salazar.

Since the bands formation in 1993 by brothers Rocky and Rudy Sanchez who were just in their early teen years at the time the band went through a few of line up changes in first couple of years which eventually lead them to join forces with life long friends Ruben Rodriguez and Israel Salazar. Together they were able to combine all of their different influences and create a sound that was raw, powerful, and new.

Throughout the bands 14 year career they have worked their way to perform with such names as (Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Dimmu Borgir, Samael, Testament, Obituary, King Diamond, Malevolent Creation, Cephalic Carnage, Mortician, and Six Feet Under) just to name a few and have also taken part of the Koshack Metal Festivals. After releasing two demos "When All Is Dead"(1998) and "Year 1999"(1999) Maleficent has completed their first self recorded and produced full length album which is entitled "Bleedover" that demonstrates the bands musical brutality.
