âSing with Meâ is the second album released by the Indianapolis-based childrenâs musician. Mark began his career as a childrenâs television personality with Fox Kids. Wanting to be more in touch with youth, Mark left television in 1998 to travel around the country speaking to elementary, middle and high school audiences. He now focuses on pre-school and elementary aged audiences and âSing with Meâ is his latest toe-tapping, hand-clapping CD.

What makes Markâs music unique is the fact that Bernstein is targeting pre-school and elementary aged children. âI never wanted to make music that only talks about animals in the zoo or how to brush your teeth. There are already so many great songs out there that do that. I wanted to write pop songs with themes that are important, familiar and relevant to todayâs young peopleâ.

Bernstein promises that itâs not just kids who will love his music but parents as well. âBeing a father of two, I know how much children like to listen to the same songs over and over again. The last thing I want to do is drive parents crazy or bore them to no end. I make certain that my music appeals to all agesâ.

Bernstein interjects his upbringing into his music. Raised on 80s pop, Mark keeps his songs upbeat, melodic, and engaging. âEach song has a theme or message that I want to get across. Sometimes itâs obvious and sometimes itâs subtle. This is where parents and grandparents come in. I want my music to serve as something that families can enjoy listening to together.â

Mark has received attention for many of his songs including First Place in the Unisong International Song Contest as well as honorable mention in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest.
