Necronomichrist has arrived to take the death metal scene by storm. Hailing from Athol, MA, Necronomichrist fuses death metal with black metal, progressive metal, and grindcore to bring brutal mayhem to metalheads everywhere. As one young fan put it, "It made me want to fall over and start twitching."
A full length album, titled "Harlequin Fetus", was released in early March. 2007 promises to have the band in full force, tearing up every stage that can handle the mayhem.
"We will play until we bleed", states frontman Cambot5000, AKA Cameron Cycz, the guttural monster of the band. His voice is accompanied by the scathing screams of guitarist James Geikie, or Jimmy the Swede, as his bandmates know him. Geikie shreds with the essence of pure darkness. When combined with the thunder of bassist Nate Plummer, and the chaos of drummer Kendall Divoll, this is a force to be reckoned with.
