Details:
Singer Songwriter Reed Waddle burst on the music scene with the his debut indie release, "Rush In" last October. He quickly created a large industry buzz via favorable reviews in several widely followed internet A&R web portals, creating instant label interest from over a dozen majors. Gary Savelson's Demodiaries.com nominated his song "I Saw Stars" as one of the top 20 unsigned artist songs of the last five years in early 2003. He became a hometown hero with a record- breaking overflow crowd for his CD release party held at Soleil et Luna in Destin, Florida. The video of that show is still played extensively on local TV.

The 20 year old University of Florida student's songs have been reviewed by Song&Film.com, Kings of A&R, Soundwerkz.com, Demodiaries.com and other music publications dedicated to discovering the best in new music. In April of 2003 he performed at the Florida Music Festival in Orlando with his five- piece band. Based on that showcase he was flown to New York City to perform for the A&R staffs of several major labels. After a summer of recording and non- stop performing in clubs his band showcased The Nemo Music Festival in Boston and The Nashville New Music Festival in Nashville.

Reed's music reaches out to a wide audience. There is an honesty in his voice..."Great songs, lyrics and vocals", writes Rob Gilmore of Soundwerkz.com, "emotional and real"..." Heavy Counting Crows influence, like John Mayer and recent buzz indie artist Graham Colton only more compelling and soulful," writes Gary Savelson of demodiaries.com, "definitely very organic..." "Reed has some great songs here and is creating a great buzz in the industry," writes Josh Zandman of Song & Film.com, "No doubt he will sign to a major very soon." "Ultra talented, crafts compelling, endearing vocals, excellent lyrics; a blend of Adam Duritz, John Mayer and Ben Harper" writes Robert Thompson of Kings of A&R, " has the look, the youth and the feel."

Reed's second full legnth CD has just been completed. "Higher Ground" will be available for purchase at the beginning of 2004. Reed was named a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition in early December 2003. Visit his website for further details regarding more current news and new CD availablility.
