What would happen if hillbillies played the blues?

10 MP3 Songs
FOLK: Folk Blues, COUNTRY: Country Folk

Details:
I'd like to introduce you to the B-Team Blues Band, a basic, sport-utility band from East Tennessee. I know you've often wondered what would happen if hillbillies played the blues. Well, so did we, and since there aren't as many chords to remember, we formed the B-Team Blues Band six years ago.

We're four Hawkins County, TN natives whose earliest musical roots go back further than we like to recall, to the Knoxville and NYC music scene of the sixties and seventies. (We paid our dues, but forgot to get a receipt.) Our first CD, "Cadillac Cruise" climbed as high as #7 on amazon.com's Indie Blues chart. It also received airplay regionally and in Czechoslovakia and Brazil. Go figure.

This project is something a little different from the first two efforts by BTBB and not exactly what anyone would consider the blues. Staying more to our East Tennessee roots, these tunes are steeped in our local heritage, a bit of Country and Bluegrass mixed in with the usual quirky lyric content and humor you've come to expect from the boys at Stock Creek.
