The band Has played a number of high profile shows including the Rolling Rock Town Fair with such bands as DEF LEPPARD, BULLET BOYS and SALIVA. Other past shows include opening for WHITESNAKE and WARRANT at Pittsburgh Post Gazette Pavilion as well as the Rex Theatre and Hard Rock Cafe Pittsburgh with U.F.O., SYMPHONY X, MOUNTAIN, KING'S X, WINGER, DAMAGEPLAN, SHADOWS FALL, THE HAUNTED and their own headlining shows. STRONGHOLD has borrowed from many different CLASSIC METAL bands and mixes in sounds from todays metal greats. A Metal Melting pot of 4 part vocal harmonies and BLAZING guitar leads with THUNDERING BASS AND DRUMS. STRONGHOLD caters to a broad audience but will no doubt satisfy your Heavy metal craving. The snow storm kept alot of people away but we had a very enthusiastic crowd and a great response. John Waite still has great voice and we hope he comes back with a full band next time to Rock Pittsburgh.
