Steve Key & Company, created in 1992 by songwriter and arranger Stephen Key, consists of vocalists who have performed various forms and styles of music locally, nationally, and internationally. The ensemble exists through love for music ministry, produces a rich harmonious gospel sound, and is committed to spreading the good news far and wide.

The group has received notable acclaim in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area and has also garnered kudos at several European music festivals, including the 1998 North Sea Jazz festival in The Hague, Holland where the group performed before standing room only audiences.

Desiring to reach an even wider audience, Steve Key & Company released its first recording, Peaceful Inspiration, in November 2003. The group released its sophomore effort, âWe Worship Youâ in March 2007.

Mr. Key's acclaimed compositions have received performances in major concert halls throughout the country; as a solo artist, he has performed with and arranged for many nationally renowned performers including Edwin Hawkins, Walter Hawkins, Richard Smallwood, Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Daryl Coley, Oleta Adams, Vickie Winans, and Jennifer Holiday.
