Based in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada (that's next to Alaska) Susie's had just about enough of winter, especially this year. The Yukon's coming up to six months with snow on the ground, and breakup has just started, as of April 6, 2007. That's late, even for here.

Breakup is a season in northern Canada - our version of spring. The rivers start to melt and flow again, and everything is partly frozen and a little unstable for a few months. Kind of like life, kind of like leaving a lover. Kind of like this album.
