Regina and Lora Swarn (The Swarn Sisters) has been performing since they were small girls growing up in Central Georgia (Macon). They are the two youngest of a large family of twelve brothers and sisters who grew up in the church and learned from an early age that "Jesus Christ Is The Way, The Truth, and The Life."

Singing since ages 3 & 4, Regina and Lora Swarn grew up surrounded by the love of God and His Word. "We know that He's real, and that He exists, and that He called us to minister His love to the world", says Lora Swarn. "That's why we keep Him the focus and lift Him up everywhere we go. Nothing is as glorious as seeing tears in the eyes of people as we sing and minister Jesus' love to them and to give them hope in a world that's so full of turmoil, dying, and suffering."

Regina Swarn is the lead vocalist of The Swarn Sisters. She also writes most of the lyrics for the group. She wrote her first song in 1979 called "Believe" (which is about receiving the outpouring of the Holy Spirit) and has been writing songs inspired by life, and of growing in Jesus, ever since. "I'm amazed at how the anointing of God takes over her when we perform live," says Lora. "She's one of the most focused and passionate vocalists that I've ever seen. You have to see her perform live to really appreciate her gift." Her musical influences are quite diverse (Linda Ronstadt, Minnie Ripperton, Olivia Newton-John, and Ann & Nancy Wilson of Heart).

Lora Swarn is the praise and worship leader for the group. She will normally be the first person who takes the microphone when performing live to introduce Jesus (to those who don't know Him) and to have the audience join in praise & worship songs. She's also one of the praise leaders at her own church.

The Swarn Sisters have ministered to many churches, youth development centers, prisons, and nursing homes. "Our ministry is about reaching souls", says Lora. "You really can't put a price tag on that. People have to feel that you're ministering to them one on one. We have to see them the way that Jesus sees them. We have to love them the same, no matter what their stature in life may be. Rich or poor, young or old, white or black. JESUS DIED FOR US ALL."

The Swarn Sisters have a quite unique sound not like anyone else in contemporary gospel music. The title track to their last released album "Hold On" is a catchy, upbeat tune about keeping the faith in the midst of troubled waters. "Sometimes life comes at you in all different directions", says Lora. "But we must learn to keep our eyes on Jesus because He is the Author and Finisher of our faith. We can never give up." The sisters have received airplay in several outlets across the country. They've also had newspaper articles featured on them.

The Mission of The Swarn Sisters is to reach as many souls as possible across the world spreading the love of Jesus Christ through their music ministry. To let people know that they have another alternative to a sad and lonely life and that in Him is Life Everlasting. To let a dying world know that they too are loved.
