The Beat Mechanics are a hot new band out of Westbury, New York.
We put together this cd of our own songs after slaving in the dives of Long Island, cranking out endless jams to Black Magic Woman, Whipping Post, and covers from U2 and Dire Straits to Miles Davis and Pat Metheny. We think that this cd is by far our best work so far. The songwriting is strong, the playing is good, and the band is way better looking than NSYNC (at least my mom thinks so). The songs are a mixture of rock and blues, with a little jazz and bossa added for flavor.
