Originally hailing from Los Angeles, Todd Beauchamp returned to his birthplace in 2001, and has been making Hollywood his playground ever since. His music has been likened to The Beach Boys, Wilco and John Mayer.

In 2001, I finally decided to get serious about music, and I moved to LA. I quickly fell in with Just Off Turner, and I played lead guitar, sang a lot of harmonies, and drank a ton of beer with the fellas for about four years. We played on almost every stage in LA; from Que's Riverbottom in Burbank to the Viper Room and the House Of Blues. We made a CD called End Of Play, which took over a year and was one of the hardest and most challenging things I've ever done in my life. We were honored to work with the legendary Robb Brothers, and got to record at Cherokee Studios with producers Jimmy Byrd (Smashing Pumpkins, Black Crowes) and Cameron Stone (Tracy Chapman, Poe, Jewel). Yeah, it was really cool.

I also play with my friend Mitchell Schaffer both live and on his record. His record "Inside of my Heart" was the number three independent seller at Amoeba Music. And one of the songs I played on was featured on an episode of One Tree Hill.

After finishing my first solo record, I went on my first solo nationwide tour. Tour highlights included headlining a show with my brother in Asheville, NC and playing my first gig ever in New Orleans 72 hours before Katrina struck. I ended that tour in Atlanta, where I hung out with my good friend Jimmy Byrd, whom you might recognize from a few paragraphs ago.

Long story short, we made another album together. It's called "Ghosts of Hollywood" and it should be at a store near you sometime in 2006. Trust me; I'll keep you posted. The songs you're listening to right now a few choice tracks from that record, only available here.

So that's my story. These days, you can find me playing gigs around town, writing songs for other artists, and living in Hollywood with my cat George. He says hi. Actually, he says "meow," but I think it all means the same thing.
