As J.R.R Tolkein once said, "the tale grew in the telling!". Pretty astute was old Jezabelle Racheal Rrapunzel, and he was right!
I'll cut to the chase here as the full storys too gruesome and the scars run deep.
I've spent more years than I care to remember in bands, playing other peoples songs. And don't get me wrong, it's been great fun! I've always manged to slip one or two of my own songs into the sets, but they have always been 'tweaked' for the group.
Recently I realised I had 6 months off for bad behaviour and decided now was the time to get down some of my own music, totally performed by moi!
I had a fab time doing it, and the results, so I'm told, seem to be across between Depeche Mode and Joy Division?
I'll let you make up your own mind.
I will just warn you, the characters in my songs do suffer a high mortality rate - not many of them get out of a song alive or without paying a high price, but then who of us do so in life?
