Since I Fell For You is the first release for pianist Eric Weinstein.

This release covers a wide variety of musical styles. It opens up with Jingles (1930) by James P. Johnson. While this rendition attempts to capture some of Johnson's magic on the piano, it also has some original elements created by Eric.

The next three songs are from the Scott Joplin, the King of Ragtime Writers. This set includes the concert piece Bethena - A Concert Waltz (1905), Eugenia (1906) and Solace - A Mexican Serenade (1909).

Also covered are such classic songs as Bewitched and My Romance (Rodgers and Hart), Love Is Here To Stay and Prelude II (Gershwin), and Since I Fell For You (Buddy Johnson).

The gorgeous song 'Forget-Me-Not Rag' was written by the talented Randy Johnson - a piano legend in Colorado.

Two original songs are also featured: The soulful 'Nothing'- originally written in the mid 1990's, and introspective 'Prayerful Improvisation'. This song was literally improvised on the spot and caught on tape.

Eric has been making music in the Denver area for more than 15 years. Much of this time has been spent in the local theater scene playing in various bands for dozens of shows. While Eric's piano skills are featured on this album, he is also accomplished on the Bass guitar and as a Vocalist. In addition to a steady stream of performances, Eric has also spent a great deal of time teaching in public schools and to individuals.
