FIRECLAN is the reuniting of former member space-rockers Melting Euphoria - Don Falcone, Mychael Merrill and Luis Davila. "Sunrise to Sunset" reinvents space-prog-rock for the post-ambient generation.
"Electric Sunrise" opens the CD with a fluent space-rock number featuring legendary Gong guitarist Daevid Allen, and it closes with the hypnotic jam of "Acoustic Sunset."
In between, it runs from minimalism "Sudden Mist" to the melodrama of "Winds of Sorrow" to the eerie soundscape of "Faces in The Terrain."
". . . These three along with a few guests ... have produced a brilliantly beautiful space rock opus entitled Sunrise To Sunset.
For those of you out there who've been waiting patiently for a new Melting Euphoria disc, this should definitely satisfy your needs. Most of it is quieter and more atmospheric but it should be an excellent addition to any space rock collection."
