Galleons Lap have featured on the Brisbane independent music scene for about five years. Now a four-piece outfit, this is a band unafraid of where the songs take them. Whether it be ballad or bluegrass, blues or news, they arrange and perform each song with respect and dynamic intensity. Galleons Lap are: Luke Foran (vocals, bass), Adam Campbell (guitar, vocals), Andy White (keys, vocals) and Yann Godillon (drums). Galleons Lap have played with many great artists such as Birtie Blackman, The Boat People, Gorgeous, Palladium, Loren, Paul Greene, Bittersweet and Cameron Elliot. They have played at Brisbane venues such as the Troubadour, the Rev, the Zoo and Rics- basically anywhere that supports independent Brisbane music. They have trekked up the coast a little, but have spent most of their time supporting local and visiting artists. Galleons Lap are well known in Brisbane for their reliability in delivering a well crafted, soulful set of truly original music.
