The artist known as Hit is a Rap artists/ writer. He is originally from Gary, IN, currently resides in Indianapolis, IN. He started rapping at the age of 10 years old. He persued the business seriously in 1994 when he and one of his partners started a group called M.C.G.'z "Murda Capital Gangstaz. They released their first real E.P. in 1997 called "The Last Dayz". This E. P. went on to sell 4,000 units indepently and locally. After two years of management and label disagreements, Hit decided to start his own label in 1999 called "Skrewface Ent." The first release from this label was the M.C.G.z "53 Chambers of Danger", which was a full L.P. This album was a local classic selling more than 10,000 copies and counting. During that time, the group opened up for Lil Kym, Twista, Nelly, Too Short, 5th Ward Boys, Scarface, amd Run D.M.C. just to name a few. In 2002 Hit released the next project under his label which was M.C.G.'z "The Slumpin E.P." This also has proven to be a classic moving 5,000 units and counting. During this time the group opened up for Lil Flip, T.I., Chingy, Do or Die, Pshycho Drama, and Crucial Conflict. In 2004 Hit released the first solo artist on his label by the name of Insanity. His album "The Introduction" has sold 2000 copies and counting. In 2005 Hit released the MCG'z "The Second Comin" which has sold 3500 and counting. So as you can see, this man is really about business and destined to make it in the Industry. He is currently working on his debut solo album "Make Way Fo Da Bad Guy". This album is the best work yet from Skrewface Ent. It is set to release Jan. 06. Through his whole career, he has reflected on the harsh way of life in Gary, IN. He goal is to put this small city on the map. He also has some producing and acting skills. He has business savy mixed with street savy, a well rounded individual I would say. He has worked with other local artist such as Twista, CCA, Ric Jilla, NGH Ent., Tension, and list goes on. He is the next big sensation from the Midwest.
