A slightly stronger country music element is quite distinct in some of the new songs, while the album as a whole has a fresher pop music feel to it.
âSweet Applesâ is a collection of beautiful tunes: emotional, lyrical, sad, romantic, naive and sometimes quite humorous â although, as on âRaintracksâ, the humor is not always immediately apparent.

Kurt Patrick Geier's critically acclaimed debut album âRaintracksâ was released in December of 2004. âSweet Applesâ is his second album as a solo artist. Besides his solo career as a singer-songwriter, Kurt is also songwriter, guitarist and co-vocalist in the German Band âRenz bei Rechnerâ.
