Well this is my first cd.. I have been writing poetry for over 20 years and then my daughter found a guitar in the garbage which was about 8 years ago..Now I can write music too!!!! Since then writing and music have been my passion as well as therapy.. There have been so many things that have happened to me, that my greatest outlet was writing.. Some of the songs that I have put together are about love and believing that it can conquer all.. "Dont let go" is a strong inspirational song that leads my sister through her daily struggles with ALS. my music is real and each song has a story. Some are funny, some are about moving on through hardships and coming out stronger and with great hope.. When you are listening, I think that everyone can relate to the songs through their own experiences. Beautiful Beginnings contains a bit of everything. There is so much realism and honesty in the words as well as the music .. The cd is not over produced cause I wanted listeners to feel as I have felt. With raw and real emotions.. and i truly believe that "being alive is a Beautiful Beginning" every song has a cradle in my heart .. Thank you and enjoy.... NORIKA
