I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on the ohio river across from Kentucky, the blue grass region. I was raised with country and gospel music. I started to play the guitar when I was ten. My dad told me to wait till I was grown to marry. I married at the age of 16. I thought I was grown.
I entered the Air Force at the age of 17 and stayed 20 years. Retired to Jacksonville Florida in 1971. I met the members of the band at different places, in different churches of different religions, but we all love good country and gospel music. We rather play and sing than eat. Here lately I have gained a little weight, I guess I should play and sing more. We, The Pilgrims Country Bannd, have made a casset tape and six C.D.s This is the third C.D. for CD baby. I hope you all enjoy listening as much as we have doing the music.
