On this sophomore effort, Blue Velvet Highway returns with yet another blend of eclectic mayhem rooted deeply in folk rock and blues.

The newest addition is material from
singer/songwriter/guitarist Paul Vlajcic. His folk-rock style with a blues flair fits right in with BVH's blend.

Jim Wearne scores again with his unique style of guitar and harmonica on "Move Your Feet" and "Fire In The Heart Of The City".

Bassist Darryl Jones reveals a harder edged side on the 9/11 influenced "Smoke In My Eyes" and the mysterious "I Get Lost" sending you off into a dream of darkness and uncertainty. A chance meeting on a dark street describes "When The Rain Comes Down" and "Overdue For Love" speaks for itself.

Carl Johnson writes of a childhood haunt in "Rainbow Beach" with "Harder On Mondays" expressing what most working people feel on that dreaded day after Sunday. "Miracle To Me" reveals the finality of finding the right person for a lifetime.

Nick Raic joins the band on percussion in this 2nd effort to bring out all of the emotion and feeling that the music was meant to have with his extended dynamics and steady, powerful beat. His addition is a welcome one!

Robert Rose once again works his production magic on additional backing vocals and guitar, with thanks to Mary Lou O'Brien for backing vocal on "Small Town Girl" and Bill Zakavec rounding out the solo on Saxophone on "Fire In the Heart Of The City".

We look forward to playing The House Of Blues in Chicago in the Fall of '05 and the world famous Brookfield Zoo concerts in summer and early fall of '05.

We hope that you enjoy this 70's influenced CD and come see us at:
