Mr. Hines went on to say that "Adelmo is an artist of great depth and versatility, he is sure to be one of the next great singers in the world." Adelmo has won numerous awards including the Altamura/Caruso International Voice Competition and the Luciano Pavarotti International Voice Competition. Adelmo has worked with such operatic legends as Licia Albanese, Luciano Pavarotti, Gulietta Simionato, Sherrill Milnes, and Robert Merrill. His successes in Europe include performing with Opera Evreux of France, The Bach to Bartok Festival and The Ravello Festival in Italy as well as various leading baritone roles in Italy, Spain, France, Portugal, Germany and Ireland. He is a graduate of Metropolitan Opera basso Jerome Hines career development program, Opera Music Theater International, and has received career grants from The Schuyler Foundation for Career Bridges, The Amadeus Fund, The Bloomfield chapter of UNICO, The New Jersey Alliance for Performing Artists, The Caruso International Voice Competition, and Richard and Donna Esteves.
Adelmo is also part of a major operatic comedy duo called: Chris & Adelmo-The Bad Boys of Opera. The act has performed off-Broadway as well as numerious corporate events worldwide.
Adelmo was also Co-Creator/Co-Host of a hit TV-show "Voices Among Us" which created an enormous amount of industry buzz. The show aired every night in NYC, Boston, Chicago and Cleveland.
