This CD is the begining of a journey to the many-veiled world of pagan spirituality which found its expression in music and poetry.
Born in Raleigh, N.C., B. Willie as he is widely known, moved to Nashville in the early 1970s. He has worked in Nashville's music scene as a studio musician for several major labels and was member of such bands as "The Harlequins" and the legendary "Beat Poets." He is also the Masterbard in the Circle of Dragonstone coven which follows an eclectic, Gardinarian tradition.
Several years ago, B. Willie began his journey of the spirit that has led him to discover the divine within himself and within the world around him. "Blessed Be" was released in 1998 and chronicles this spiritual journey in B. Willie"s distinctive style. He embraced the ideas of love, deity, honor, ritual and the craft musically and enhanced the tone and flavor of the project through the poetry of local Nashville poet like Brian Jester.
