We Band of Brothers play cover music in an 'old-school' fashion, from the 50's pop and country of Ricky Nelson and
Lefty Frizzell to the latter-day Americana sounds of Buddy Miller, Lucinda Williams and Slaid Cleaves. We crank out traditional country from the catalogs of Merle Haggard and Jim Reeves, plus the country-rock sounds of Bruce Robison, the Mavericks and Dwight Yoakam. Carl Perkins, Kevin Welch, Buddy Holly, Radney Foster, James Intveld, Warren Zevon....the Brothers have a strong and varied repertoire. But it's our original music that is our pride and joy. With memorable lyrical hooks, uncluttered arrangements and foot-tapping backbeats, we're out to win you over with our brand of Texas music! A murder mystery, a classic country cheatin' song, a "don't-be-wastin'-your-life" wakeup call, a scathing commentary on the media - there's stories to be told and we aim to tell 'em!
