This soulful crooner was born and raised in Detroit in the 50âs and 60âs which were the Motown years. Having always had a passion to sing, Charles ignored his calling and set out on a life of drugs and the pursuit of instant gratification. His ungodly quest led to brushes with the law and after years of sorrow and grief Charles turned his life over to God. He knows whereof he sings and his original songs reflect his experience.
