A true European, CoreyOâ has three European nationalities. He is an Irish, British and German citizen, the latter through his mother, who besides being English also has German citizenship. His father is Irish and British. CoreyOâs older sister lives and works in England as a graphic designer. CoreyOâ himself lives in Ireland and Germany and grew up bilingual.

CoreyOâ was born on the 23rd September 1984 in Ireland and moved to Germany with his family where he attended primary school and completed his education by going to Film School. His life up until now has certainly been anything but boring. He experienced life in rural Ireland surrounded by music, before diving into the urban jungle in Germany, which was an easy transition for the open minded, and flexible 22 year-old. CoreyOâ began composing at an early age. His outstanding talent as a musician can also be traced back to the fact that he constantly heard live music in his parentâs house. Even as a baby, CoreyOâ seemed to take every sound he heard as a pleasant rhythmical pattern which he imitated, including all the changes in pitch and dynamics. Rhythm is his life. Later, but even before he could read and write, CoreyOâ insisted on piano lessons and also taught himself how to play the guitar and the drums. In 1993 at the age of 9, he fell in love with Tupac Shakurâs sounds and beats and his passion for Hip-Hop was born â the music genre through which he is developing his own unique style of music to the present day.

He composes his music on the keyboard and plays all the instruments that he uses in his compositions himself. During his schooldays, CoreyOâ made songs for all kinds of occasions and performed on the school stage to great applause. He would even turn up at a restaurant in his rapper gear on behalf of a friend, surrounded by the shocked faces of the older diners who had thought themselves safe in a traditional family gathering, and perform a song, tailor-made by him for the occasion. In later years he was often asked by his employers to compose music for TV documentaries, which he did with great sensitivity for the subject matter, earning himself praise in doing so. Nowadays, CoreyOâ has turned his full concentration onto his own music confirming that professionally for CoreyOâ there is no other option. Music is his life.
