Biography
The origin of EYE TO I is an interesting story. When the cover band they were part of split up, Chris (drums) and Bobby (guitar) decided to keep jamming, writing and searching for members to form a new band. Bobby and his friend Jason (bass) worked at the same music store. Bobby asked him to come out and jam. Jason brought a unique style both musically and visually to the table, and was instantly brought into the fold. Still needing a vocalist, mutual friends introduced the guys to Monte, whose lyrical approach to the music was a perfect match. Within a short period of time, five songs were finished and were rehearsed intensely. A friend of Monte's, Shaun (Rhythm Guitar) came to a practice and liked what he heard. Shaun was added to the band and has made an unmistakable mark on the music.

EYE TO I was born!!

Just 3 months after forming, EYE TO I was asked to be the opener for national recording artists Revelation Theory. With only 5 songs and a drum solo, EYE TO I rocked the club. The show was a major success and an eye opener for the guys in the band. There was a certain chemistry between the five members, and they realized the band could be something special.

Since then, EYE TO I has shared the stage with many national, regional and local bands. The band has grown their fan base with high-energy shows and constantly evolving songwriting.

In the summer of 2006, EYE TO I went into the recording studio with producer Hodgi Garvin. The band spent 4 months working on their debut album.

"The Mourning After" was released on December 6, 2006. The album was mastered in Frankford Wayne Studios in New York City which has produced multi-platinum albums. Their artists have included: Whitney Houston, Suzanne Vega, Moby, Mary J. Blige, Jay-Z, Erykah Badu, Chemical Brothers, Fat Joe, Muse, and Technotronic.

Eye To I has performed for enthusiastic crowds in Orlando, Jacksonville, and Daytona Beach Florida. They have made regular appearances in Beaufort, Charleston, and Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

The band will participate in numerous music festivals nationally this summer.

Multiple songs from "The Mourning After" have received air play in Florida and South Carolina. The album has been selling well.

Their first single "Everyone's An Actor" is being distributed to radio stations across the country.

Eye To I presents a high energy and entertaining stage show.

Their unique sound is earning critical praise and a rapidly growing fan base.
