Camilla is a five-piece rock band based out of New York City.
Formed in late 2003 by Ethan Fixell and Evan Grove, Camilla plays melodic indie rock infused with electronica, drawing influence from bands such as Pinback, The Postal Service, Jimmy Eat World, and Muse. Camilla's first full length CD, Of Bees and Flies, was recorded in the houses of Ethan Fixell (guitarist and vocalist) and Evan Grove (guitarist and vocalist), and mastered at Studio Crash in Philadelphia, PA in the summer of 2004. With eleven eclectic songs, Of Bees and Flies is driven by crisp vocal harmonies, crunchy guitars, stirring synths, and a dynamic combination of programmed and live drums.
