This CD is Pierce's first Irish album and fourth solo recording. It was recorded, mixed and mastered by him in his Twelfth Octave Studio.
Pierce sings and plays acoustic guitar, mandolin and bass with a few banjo tracks by Paul Neri and one guest bass track on John Barleycorn by Tony Pasqualoni.
The recording has many traditional Irish pub songs like ' The Moonshiner' and 'The Irish Rover' while his original drinking songs,( One Pint Of Porter, The Ration Of Rum, Too Much Good Whiskey, A Pint Or So, The Sailor's Chant) are written in the Irish folk tradition and fit right in with their authentic feel.
There are many lead lines and solos played by mandolin and guitar together giving the CD a signature sound.
