Randy Brown and Paul Mask began collaborating several months ago, through Randyâs website, studioRKB.com. Randy has a unique understanding of Paulâs lyrics. His insightful, intuitive knowledge of music comes, in part, from being blind. Even though Randy and Paul live in opposite sides of the country, they have developed a unique working relationship to the tune of six well-recorded country songs, in as many months.
Paul has been songwriting for several years, since the sudden death of his son, Jordan. Jordanâs death motivated him to pull ideas from 40 years in gospel music. Country music is an easy genre for Paul since he was born and raised in the South; he lived what he writes about. Paul and his wife Angela currently reside in Spokane, WA.
Randy Keith Brown was born in Waycross, Ga, and grew up in Atlanta. He plays bass, electric, acoustic guitars, drums, and keyboards. He is a musician, songwriter, engineer, and producer, who plays with Jeff Cook (Cook & Glenn), and formerly played with Curtis Mayfield among others. He also does studio work in Nashville. Randy and his wife Wanda live in White House, TN, where he produces music at his own studio.
