MYTY KONKEROR is a noisy two-piece from New Haven, CT and Brooklyn, NY who writes songs about protest and thought. The MK2 sound came together after its two members logged countless miles along the I-95 corridor to meet for rehearsal in an old Bridgeport CT auto body shop. There they focused on wringing improbable sonic density from a simple guitar/drum setup. Recently MK2 has settled into a home-built studio and rehearsal space, where their sound has become more melodic and expansive. The songs on their debut EP, "The Excluded Middle," are rock explorations that incorporate fragments of proto-metal, shoegaze, kraut-rock, and noise. These songs are their statement from and about America, and a testament to their love of sound.
