New Cd to Showcase the best independent talent nationally
Independent artists are being kicked to the curb as they try desperately to break into the
industry. To make it even worse, out of the nine hundred or more independent labels formed each year,
nearly ninety percent of them fail without ever seeing the light from the majors. With so much music
being flooded into the market by Indies, the consumer is reluctant to purchase anything that hasn't been
âprovenâ by the big boys, with fear of being brutally burned on quality. To make matters that much
worse, these artists usually don't have the marketing funds to even break through the ice.
Underground Thunder is a series of CD s, created by Nitemare Records, to showcase
independent talent and to aid consumers in making the proper decision on purchasing independent
music. Rather than spending ten to fifteen dollars to purchase the music of a group or artist, only to
find it disappointing, the consumer now has the luxury to utilize these same funds to hear ten to fifteen
hand-picked artists/groups. These carefully selected few are guaranteed to be the pick of the litter,
saving the consumer time and money, while introducing them to the Indies that they need to hear.
Volume One of the series is set to release in early April 2007.
