An instrumental blend of Jazz, Latin, Funk and Rock.

12 MP3 Songs
JAZZ: Smooth Jazz, JAZZ: Jazz Fusion

Details:
"The Force of Nature" is an instrumental blend of Jazz, Funk, Latin and Rock featuring guitar and piano as lead melodic and harmonic entities. Coupled with syncopated percussive rhythms, "The Force of Nature" will take you on an eclectic journey seldom traveled.

To paraphase the great martial artist and Jeet Kune Do master, Bruce Lee: "To believe in one style of anything is like going through life blindfolded. Absorb what is useful from all walks of life and flow with it, become water. Water flows or water can crash. Ease the burden of your mind."

Relax and enjoy "The Force of Nature."

About the Artist
Carl Miles was born in Port Arthur, Texas, the seventh of ten children, all of who are musicians and founders of the self-contained band, The Soul Creators.

Carl has performed in the studio on Bill Shields' "Shieldstone" with Stanley Clarke, Freddie Hubbard, Jack DeJohnette, Airto Moreira, John Abercrombie, Gordon Brisker and Bob Mangusson, and jammed live with Big Joe Turner, Margie Evans and The Blues Thrillers and Jimmy Madden, of The Champs and "Tequila" fame.

A self-taught guitarist with over thirty years of musical experience, Carl studied music theory at Cameron University, Lawton, Oklahoma. He now lives in Los Angeles and gigs in the southern California area.
