The story of Oklahomo Trio begins in February 2004 in a snowy and cold Jönköping, Sweden where Ida and Henrik started messing around with a guitar and a dusty recording device.

They moved to Prague shortly thereafter with an EP in their hands and scored a gig at the Alchemy in Nove Mesto.

Here is a review of that show:

âThe highlight of this Mondayâs Alchemy was definitely the Oklahomo Trio. OT is actually a duo consisting of Swedes Ida and Henrik. Their songs are sparse and simple; Ida projects quirky lyrics in a voice vaguely reminiscent of Bjork in her quieter moments, a voice full of conflict: both haunted and haunting, always on the verge of breaking down yet consistently uplifting. Henrikâs guitar provides Idaâs voice with a suitably bittersweet landscape to roam in.â

During the Prague year they wrote many songs and later recorded them in upper Zizkov with Josh Mackey of "Arms And The Boy". The S/T debut album came out in May 2006.

After a year of playing many bars and cafés in Czech Republic, the band moved to separate parts of the world but continued writing songs.

In January 2007, Ida and Henrik met up in Prague and went into the studio with Josh to record these and "Obsessive: Impulsive" is the result!

In addition to guitar, they used a Casio Rapman, cello, drums and bass on this recording.

Ida is currently working on a novel in Portland, Oregon and Henrik makes films in Melbourne, Australia.
