Details:
Based out of Brooklyn, NY, Pathfire is an indie folk duo on the rise. Whether it's an acoustic lament or a rolling melody, Nathan Collins-Jensen (vocals, guitars) and Sean Titone (keyboards, background vocals) walk their audience through past mistakes, future hopes and present constraints with musical snapshots of an eclectic experience. Pathfire came into existence in March 2005 after Nathan and Sean bonded over drinks at DBA bar, a cozy watering hole in the East Village in New York City. In the past two years, they have played in Manhattan and Brooklyn at such venues as Piano's, Pete's Candy Store, Sin-e, The Brooklyn Lyceum, Micky's Blue Room, and Parkside Lounge.
Their debut EP, Think Out Loud, was recorded in Philadelphia, PA at Surreal Sound Studios. Alex Yaker (Roomtone, Grammar Debate) recorded and mixed the album as well as played bass on most of the tracks.
