Platinum Factory Hitz Poppa Dolla is most known for his true to life story lines and his dramatics compositions. In addition to composing and writing Poppa Dolla still contends that he is a student absorbing knowledge from fellow Dallas acts such DSR, Eryka Badu, and Quinton Black to name a few. Poppa Dolla is most often paired with his writing companion Clark Findley of PhatMann communications. Poppa Dolla also worked as an engineer and in house producer for Alpha Omega Ent.

While working at Alpha Omega, Poppa Dolla created a following as one of the premiere in house producers. Producing tracks for a contingent of artists such as Dizack, Didem, Notorious Hoods, Pimp Playa Hustler just to name a few. Poppa's initial music exposure came thru working with Alpha Omega Ent, setting up PA and d j gear. Also performing at receptions, weddings, and hotels. Poppa also promotes and produces several artists under his Platinum Factory Music Group, artist ranging from Hardcore Hip Hop to R&B to Alternative.

Poppas eclectic formula for creating hot music is generated from his ability to dig deep into himself and apply it to his compositions. Poppa has always created music as a passion never slowing down always on the cutting edge of the next major thing. Poppa has chosen not to shop his demo in the past but now feel a since of urgency and has a goal to be the greatest rapper-singer-producer alive. He has continued in the studio completing his dual cd still untitled. With over 50 songs to choose from.

Poppa is a true studio rat with completing as much as he can always in the back of his mind. Poppa is currently a Network Specialist for AT&T full time, and continues to work on new tracks with all his free time. Poppa completes on average of 3 - 4 songs per week. Constantly grinding to polish his sound. Poppa has completed several album projects yet to be released. His debut cd titled DL volume 1, and follow up with the alternative project titled Double It Up. Both great projects in there on right but never we're promoted or shopped. There is no question that we're guaranteed to be hearing more of the name Poppa Dolla in the near future as he is a talent, a diamond in the rough, and the game has been missing and need a artist at the level of Poppa Dolla.
