The West coast answer to Hip Hop; Reign Major consists of two enterprising young men. Crunch and K.O.. Both nineteen with a passion, love and ambition for music. Hailing from the West, their music brings promise for the West Coasts lackluster rap game. Their sound is an honest and gritty depiction of the urban inner city. Where making money is the driving force of day to day life. Both have struggled and know the demands of staying afloat in an environment where the odds are stacked against you. Their songs tell tales of personal nature as well as introspective observations of the world around them.

The two young men met while still in high school and have already paid their share of dues personally and professionally since embarking on their musical journey. They initiated their music career as two boys in school that realized they had something in common. Created a rap clique dubbed CSP (Cold Street Productions). Many of the other members of the clique feel off due to various reasons including jail time and going away for college. The two young men still standing, Crunch and K.O. decided that they wanted to pursue their talents beyond the school yard.

Through mutual connections the two were able to get an independent label deal with Mad Heaven Entertainment. Unfortunately the indie, mainly rock/pop label would not prove to be a home for the groups unique sound. Their musical influences come from the great legends such as Tupac, Biggie, Jay-z and Nas. Influenced, yet set out to separate themselves from the common dumbed down commercial music out now.

Yet, there was a very positive outcome of the Mad Heaven deal. Which was the link to producer Skhye Hutch of 4 Starz Music; who was mainly responsible for the production of the groups debut album; Growing Pains, as well as the groups dynamic new sound. Their lyrics and delivery have the essence similar to veterans in the game, yet fresh and alive, bringing to the table what music has been lacking; ORIGINALITY! Unlike other acts the group members are not only skilled writers, but harness talents in production as well.

The chemistry between the two young men can be heard on their tracks as well as seen in live performances. A perfect ying and yang blend of coolness and fire. Crunch being the more cool and laid back of the two, he is also an occasional producer. K.O. being the firey spark that sets thestage on fire, as well as the groups battle rapper willing to take on any willing opponent at any time. The group has performed hits from the Growing Pains album(Adding Up the Profit, Money In The Bank) all over southern California opening for acts such as Jurassic 5 and Rhymefest and Grown Mo.

The groups leap to local celebrity is quite apparent. Performing at all types of different venues such as the Rhythm Lounge, BB Kings House of Blues, and the world famous Knitting Factory.With fans all over the globe due to the explosion of Myspace.com and iTunes, Reign Major is proving day by day and show by show that they are the next big thing in music.
