She performs on this CD with some of the finest musicians that cultural America has to offer , featuring percussionist Abdus Sabor (formerly with the Original Last Poets Society, Art Blakey, Carl Tjader, Jerry Gonzales and Abby Lincoln), the great saxophonist/composer Harold Ousley (formerly with Billie Holliday, Dinah Wahington and Dule Ellington) and bassist Bob Cunningham (formerly with Dizzy Gillespie, Freddy Hubbard, Sun Ra and Olatunji)
