Carpal Tullar is the "band name" for Chris Tullar, who doesn't have a band. He is a reclusive tracking musician, who writes songs and plays all the instruments necessary (guitar, bass, piano, keyboard, drums/percussion, accordian, and of course vocals) to weave together his ideas. The music has been described as "clever, melancholy, absurdly humorous, profound, silly, biting and ambiguous, sometimes all in the same song."

On the unfortunate side, his focus resides in his music almost solely, leaving out the much desired marketing side. He has never performed live, never had a record label, and during the course of making four albums, he has only ever made copies for his friends until now. He lives in Asheville, North Carolina.
