Songsta is Stephen Marquis, a composer, producer, arranger and bassist from Sydney Australia.

As a songwriter, Songsta began his career as soon as he learnt three chords on the guitar at age 8. It was a natural extension of himself and his music.

As he says, "I write them for myself because I love to do it. I also write, arrange and produce tracks for other artists, for film, TV, advertising and multimedia because I love to do that (and I get paid)."

With a lot of songs in all sorts of styles, recorded with many different singers and musicians from his experiences as a live musician in Sydney, the idea of Songsta is to unify all the work from over the years under one banner.
