Jason Wright shines a new light on familiar sacred melodies with his unique, peaceful style. Inspired by George Winston, Billy Joel, Elton John, Tim & Ryan OâNeill, Marty Haugen, and Beethoven; Jason arranges familiar melodies and creates new ones which inspire listeners. His album encourages relaxation and reflection for personal time, in a worshipful setting, or for religious celebrations.

Jason began piano lessons when he was six years old and joined a boy choir that traveled internationally, at the age of nine. Classically trained from the start, he connected to the passion that composers used in their music. His enthusiasm to recreate that same passion in his own childhood performances propelled him to excel.

In 1997, Jason began his studies in the music department at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. He excelled in music theory and ear training, and the next four summers, began to develop his improvisational skills while leading worships at Bible Camp.

For the past five years, Jason has taught private piano and voice lessons at his studio in New Prague, Minnesota. He also works with the nationally recognized pianists, Tim and Ryan OâNeill, selling music, editing sheet music, and as an associate pianist traveling to promote their albums.

Jason is enthusiastic about expressing familiar tunes with a deep spiritual connection. His hope is that you, too, can find a way to relax and connect to the peaceful music he creates.
