Helene Cronin is a singer/songwriter who lives in Dallas, Texas. She first began writing songs in college and developed a passion for songwriting that continues to drive her musical career. She has recorded three albums of original material. Two of them are available on CDBaby: "Living By Faith", and "In the Company of Angels".

This CD is full of songs about life. "Unfaithful Heart" kicks off the album with an up-tempo, rock-flavored song about how hard it is to remain faithful to God in the way that He deserves. Discouragement can cause us to doubt His goodness, His presence and His power.

"Waiting In Heaven" is a tender, moving song about miscarriage. An unusual topic for a song, this one always brings tears to audiences.

"Beyond My Understanding" has a simple, haunting melody and jangling layers of guitar. It is purely an acknowledgement of the greatness and mystery of God.

"Strong Links" has been used often for women's groups and retreats and speaks of the importance of helping each other over the rough spots. It's all about community.

"For a Little While" is an ode to how quickly children grow up. We only have them for a short time, and it is time to be treasured. Any parent will relate.

On "For a Time Like This" the world seems to be falling apart around us, but there is a reason we are here...to hold out truth to the hopeless.

Parents can't be everywhere at once, that's why our kids need guardian angels. "Alexandra's Angel" is a folky, tender song about children, parenting and God's protection being absolutely necessary. We have the weapons of angels on our side.

"Church of Little Hope" pokes fun at the name of a church once seen in East Texas. Well, the town is called Little Hope, and it does have churches. This song wonders out loud what that kind of church would be like.

The piano-based "Ocean of Love" is a quiet celebration of God's limitless love, mercy and peace inviting the listener to "come down to the water".

"I Love You, Lord Jesus" is a simple worship chorus, sung in response to His incredible sacrifice.
