Enrique Briones, creator of ELECTROANOVA, began in the musical composition in the year 1990 with the only help of an electronic keyboard Yamaha SQ16. In the begining, the songs' sound and lyrics were very basic, and records were made in casettes of quite bad quality.
With the years, the idea to make the kind of music that he has in his mind, never stopped hunging around. The problem laid in the impossibility of merging these sounds with a good quality, and without the need of a real studio at home for its recording.... The solution was found in the computers: the use of edizing, composition amd masterization programms.
Electroanova created lot of songs which remained unfinished and forgotten, and other ones which were finally shaped pending of a last touch, these ones included in his first album. Obviously with the years, the songs quality and efforts have encreased, which has produced better results in the final mounting.
Finally, in August 2006, he decided to go ahead and record the previously selected songs in a proffesional studio. Two complete weekends and a lot later edition, chorus and masterization have given as a result the first album "Deux ex Machina", with different melodic electronic sounds, two of them in English, and two more instrumental ones. The whole CD production has been made by ELECTROANOVA,which has created a first limited and numbered edition of 2000 CD´s.
With the use of computer programs together with synthesizers such as KORG Trinity, Korg Z1, Roland JP8000 and EG10 integrated, "Deux ex Machina" is only the beginning of new works that will allow us to enjoy of the real electropop sound.
