Details:
"I must thank you, Bruce, and Kelsie for putting on by far one of the most class act performances we've ever had. It was the most culturally fascinating performance we've had since I've been here."

Chris Mullins, Kentucky Music Hall of Fame & Museum, Resident Musician

Lorinda, Bruce, and Kelsie bring together their eclectic music backgrounds to create a memorable music adventure.
Bruce debuts his Kentucky thumb picking style guitar playing on "I Am A Pilgrim." Kelsie's fiddle swoons on "Blue Moon Of Kentucky," and Lorinda lulls the listener with the harp on "Water Is Wide."

A very special guitar/mountain dulcimer duet opens the CD, and each track that follows has something different to keep the listener engaged in over 50 minutes of acoustic music.

Lorinda performs solo, as well as with Bruce Adair and Kelsie Westfall. Together, their instrument arsenal barely fits on one stage!

An audience member recently commented, "your sound is lighter than air". As a performer, teacher, recording artist, and music therapist, Lorinda attempts to put her audience in a place that transports the listener to their ancestral roots.
Performing on the Irish style harp, mountain dulcimer, and other folk instruments, the music encompasses the roots of American music from the ancient harp tunes of the Celtic lands, to American mountain music, ragtime, and current folk music.

Lorinda Jones grew up in a musical family in a small town in South Central Kentucky. She began performing at an early age, and has pursued music through a wide range of instruments including piano, oboe, dulcimer, harp, tin whistle, psaltery, zither, autoharp, and guitar, among others. Lorinda has experienced a varied career in music ranging from that of a band director to a music therapist. Through the various aspects of music, she continues to appreciate and discover her musical roots through the folk music.

She has been very fortunate to play and perform with numerous groups and musicians, from the Bryan Symphony Orchestra, to the Heartland Dulcimer Club. Currently, she performs as a group member with the Heartland Dulcimer Club, and as director of the Heartland Harp Ensemble. As a duo, she works with guitarist Bruce Adair, and as a trio, adds Kelsie Westfall on acoustic bass and fiddle. She also performs with an Irish group that includes fiddler Larry Green, and flutist Cathy Wilde. Classical flutist, Deborah Couch, also adds a "touch of class" to special performances.

"The first time I attended a folk music performance, something was awakened inside me. It is that awakening experience that I want to bring to others."
Lorinda Jones

Bruce comes to traditional music from a classical and acoustic fingerstyle background, receiving instruction from guitar greats, Pat Kirley, Eddie Pennington, and Tony McManus. He is fast becoming a multi-instrumentalist having added mandolin, Irish Bouzouki, ukuele, and mountain dulcimer, and bass to his solo guitar and and rhythm playing.

Kelsie westfall started playing mandolin, fiddle, guitar, bass, and banjo as a teenager adns oon became the fiddler for square dance bands. After enlisting in the Army, he won a talent show and became a member of the "Army Soldier Show", touring all over the world. In addition to the playing with Bruce and Lorinda, he teaches privately and plays with the bluegrass band, Down on 5th.
