Owen Sartori was the front-man for âPushâ & âA Band Called Delicious,â two well-received (and well-reviewed) Minneapolis rock acts, before deciding to shed the comfort of the band scene in favor of a solo musical endeavor.
Owen joined up with songwriter/producer Daniel Holter and began working on his first solo effort, âAnother Beautiful Day in the Cube.â Itâs an emotional record drawing from his dealings with lost loved ones, age milestones, failing relationships, and - as the title suggests - corporate work culture.
Continuing his tradition of writing quirky, smart pop songs a la Glen Phillips, Aimee Mann, Ben Folds or Jason Falkner, âCubeâ is a diverse yet cohesive record, exploring new directions which many fans of his music have never heard.
