Lee Romano, AKA Captain Music, brings 16 years of educational experience to Captain Music, Inc. Their books and CDs “Set Sail On The Sea of Character…Monthly School–Wide and Classroom Activities for Your Character Education Program”, The “Character Counts…So Do I!” Series including the CD which was selected OUTSTANDING by Parent Council, the Lesson Plan and Song Book, and Character Counts…So Do I!…The Musical, and their energizer CD, “I Like To Wiggle!” are being used successfully at schools throughout the United States to teach children about great character.

In addition to being Captain Music’s president, Lee is the company’s musical composer and producer. Prior to his teaching career, Lee was a professional trumpet player and has toured the world and performed with Lionel Hampton’s Orchestra (Grammy Nomination 1985), Natalie Cole, and The Glenn Miller Orchestra among others. Lee has had several articles published about his teaching experiences and methods he used in his classroom.

When Lee’s trumpet career came to an abrupt halt due to a mini stroke, he resolved to move forward and merge his educational and musical experiences into something positive for children. In 1999 he created Captain Music, Inc. where he now funnels his energy into creating some of the best children’s music and educational materials in the market today. Everything at Captain Music, Inc. is created for educators by educators, with children, teachers, parents and music in mind!
