Trinity Dogsâ style is an eclectic blend of folk, rock, county and blues, often infused with harmonies and usually interpreted with acoustic guitar, mandolin, drums and bass. Listeners might detect influences ranging from REM and The Grateful Dead to Natalie Merchant, Richard Thompson and Soul Asylum. Fans have described the group as a power mandolin quartet, an effort to convey its rocking acoustic style. Or as an art band, an allusion to its offbeat arrangements of dark and imaginative songs.

The four members of Trinity Dogs have been playing together in bars, art festivals and showcase gigs in Fort Worth, Dallas and Austin for the past four years.
