Singer, songwriter, Mary Phillips (former keyboardist for notable alternative recording artists such as Matthew Sweet, Chris Stamey, The Wygals, Marti Jones and Don Dixon of REM fame) debuts with her first solo CD, "Sound of My Soul".
After spending time on the road as a keyboardist, Mary performed and sang alongside Barry Mitchell (Barry Mitchell and the Mitchellettes) on ABC's overnight news show, World News Now singing Barry's political and amusing parodies...like The World News Polka!
Joined by husband/guitarist, Mark Phillips (of Long's Island's Broken Arrow Band),(with dynamic featured vocalists Laura Hawthorne, Victoria Perrone, Kelly Tanza, and Rev. Rick Zepernick on the meditative "There is No Fear in Love") and James Phillips and friends on the playful "Jesus in My Heart" -- "Sound of My Soul" -- is just that, as well as a sweet, joyful noise.
